A week ago, Someone, (I don’t know who) saw a person collapsed in the train station.
They had the foresight and quick thinking and courage to grab one of the 4 publicly available defibrillation kits in Waverly Train Station in Edinburgh and follow the clear instructions that the machine gave them.
I believe, that this person, whoever they were, if they were a member of staff or a passer-by, or some Guardian Angel… Saved my brother’s life. Because of their quick response and kindness, he’s made it!!!
I feel Such Enormous Gratitude and Love to this soul. I might not ever be able to find them to say thank you, I might never know who they are, but I am in Awe at their kindness for another person that they don’t know. I wish them So well and hope they can feel the enormous appreciation I have for them. They are my Hero!
In these situations, time is Key and every minute counts, so I feel grateful that my brother was taking a shortcut through the station, where there are 4 machines available. I feel grateful for this important project to make defibrillators available in public places. I had seen one in town, but I don’t think I was so aware of any others, I will be now!
I support the availability of these incredible machines and hope they save Many more lives.
